The Orthodox Christian Youth Movement is the Youth wing of The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. OCYM is proactively taking leadership and Christian witness in the Church and society. It contributes to the goodness and progress of the Church and community in the three-fold path of worship, study and service. It aims at moulding the minds and visions of the youth against the background of the contemporary issues.
Mar Dionysius Memorial Youth Movement (MDMYM) is the unit of OCYM in St. George Orthodox Syrian Church, Thiruvanvandoor. MDMYM was founded on 1997 in the name of the founder of our church, Thoma Mar Dionysius (Mount Thabor Dhayara, Pathanapuram). MDMYM takes active leadership in all spiritual, cultural and social activities within the church and beyond.
