Refund Policy

1. General Policy

We are grateful for your contributions and support of St. George Orthodox Syrian Church, Thiruvanvandoor (Kochupally). Online payments made through the Kochupally Parish Portal — including membership dues, special collections, auction payments, and voluntary contributions — are generally treated as final once successfully processed, because they are recorded in parish financial accounts and used for church administration and ministry.

2. When Refunds May Be Considered

A refund may be considered in limited circumstances, such as:

• Duplicate payment for the same contribution or invoice
• Incorrect amount paid due to a clear technical or entry error
• Payment made to the wrong family, invoice, or purpose and reported promptly
• Unauthorized transaction reported with supporting details

3. How to Request a Refund

Please include the payer name, date of payment, amount, payment reference or receipt number, and a brief explanation of the issue. Requests should be submitted as soon as possible after the transaction.

4. Processing Refunds

• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method wherever possible.
• Refunds are processed through Razorpay and may take 5–7 working days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
• If a refund cannot be processed electronically, the parish office will advise on an alternative arrangement.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

• Voluntary donations made intentionally to support parish activities
• Payments for services or events already completed or consumed
• Requests submitted long after the transaction without valid justification
