These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kochupally Parish Portal at https://kochupally.com, including the member portal, online contribution services, public reports, WhatsApp Business messaging, and related features (collectively, the "Service").

The Service is operated by St. George Orthodox Syrian Church, Thiruvanvandoor (Kochupally) ("we", "us", or "our"), a parish of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who May Use the Service

• The public website and contact forms may be used by anyone.
• Member portal accounts are provided to registered parish members and authorized church office bearers.
• You must provide accurate information when registering or making contributions.
• Parents or guardians are responsible for use of the Service on behalf of minor family members listed in parish records.

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.

• Interfere with the security or operation of the website, portal, payment systems, or WhatsApp integrations.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or misleading information through contact forms or messaging channels.
• Misrepresent your identity or relationship to the parish when requesting access or support.

We may suspend or revoke portal access if these Terms are violated or if access is no longer appropriate for parish administration purposes.

4. Online Contributions and Payments

The Service allows parish members and supporters to make online contributions, membership payments, auction payments, and similar parish-related payments through our payment gateway partner, Razorpay.

• Payment amounts and descriptions shown at checkout must be reviewed before confirming payment.
• Successful payments generate receipts maintained in parish financial records.
• Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy.
• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by banks, card networks, or third-party payment processors outside our control.

5. WhatsApp Business Messaging

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform to send service-related messages such as receipts, dues reminders, portal links, and responses to enquiries sent to our official church WhatsApp number.

• By messaging our WhatsApp number or receiving parish service messages, you consent to communications related to parish administration as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You may opt out of non-essential WhatsApp messages by contacting us or blocking the number through WhatsApp.
• WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.; their terms and policies also apply to use of the WhatsApp application.

6. Parish Records and Portal Content

Membership records, family details, contribution history, receipts, and reports displayed in the portal are maintained for legitimate parish administration. While we work to keep information accurate and up to date, occasional errors may occur.

Please notify the parish office promptly if you notice incorrect personal or financial information so it can be corrected.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Razorpay (payments), Meta/WhatsApp (messaging), and email delivery services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services linked from our site.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis for parish administration and member convenience. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, St. George Orthodox Syrian Church, Thiruvanvandoor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
