Thanksgiving for Feast under St. George's Intercession

St. George Orthodox Syrian Church (Kochupally), Thiruvanvandoor, offers sincere thanks for the blessings received during the recent feast days celebrated under the intercession of St. George the Martyr. We acknowledge and appreciate the active participation and cooperation of the parish community throughout the observances. 🙏

Leadership and Coordination

The celebrations were planned and coordinated by Vicar Rev. Fr. Tiju Abraham, Trustee Liju Abraham, Secretary T. V. John, and members of the parish managing committee. Their guidance ensured the smooth conduct of the programmes and liturgical services. The Perunal Qurbana was conducted by Very Rev. Gheevarghese Ramban, who led the principal liturgy and solemn prayers for the parish.

Programme Highlights

• Conventions: Devotional sessions with scripture readings and reflections, giving parishioners opportunities for quiet prayer and communal devotion.
• Feast Procession: The procession drew warm participation from parishioners and neighboring faithful, demonstrating our shared reverence and unity.
• Holy Qurbana: Special services were offered in thanksgiving and for the intentions of the parish, with prayers for families, the sick, and those in need.

Volunteers and Support

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the choir members, altar servers, ushers, flower and sanctuary teams, hospitality volunteers, donors, and all who assisted with logistics and preparations. Your cooperation and dedication ensured that each service and event proceeded in orderly devotion and fellowship.

Acknowledgements

We also thank visiting faithful from nearby parishes and friends who joined our celebrations. The participation of young and old alike enriched the observances and strengthened our sense of community.

Prayer and Blessing
