In Blessed Memory of Late Rev. Fr. T. G. Zacharia

Today, we lovingly remember and honor the blessed memory of Late Rev. Fr. T. G. Zacharia, who faithfully served as the Vicar of St. George Orthodox Syrian Church, Thiruvanvandoor, from 1971 to 1993.

As we commemorate the 25th anniversary of his eternal rest, we reflect with gratitude on a life dedicated to God, the Church, and the faithful. During his twenty-two years of pastoral ministry in our parish, Fr. T. G. Zacharia provided spiritual leadership, guidance, and unwavering support to countless families, leaving a lasting impact on the life of the parish.

Beyond his ministry in Thiruvanvandoor, Achen also served with distinction as the Manager of Devalokam Aramana, Kottayam, where his administrative wisdom and commitment to the Church were widely appreciated.

The legacy of faith and service was deeply rooted in his family. His father, Rev. Fr. T. M. Geevarghese, served as the Vicar of our parish from 1956 to 1971, laying a strong spiritual foundation for future generations. Together, their combined years of ministry represent a remarkable chapter in the history of our parish.

Fr. T. G. Zacharia was remembered for his humility, compassion, pastoral care, and steadfast commitment to the Gospel. His life continues to inspire us to serve God and one another with love, sincerity, and dedication.

On this memorial occasion, we prayerfully remember his noble life and invaluable contributions to our parish and the wider Church. May his memory remain a source of inspiration for generations to come.

May the memory of Late Rev. Fr. T. G. Zacharia be eternal.

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8)
